New Delhi, September 10th, 2015: SPAG Asia has earned the rare distinction of being nominated as finalists in the Not-for-Profit category at the prestigious Holmes Report SABRE Awards 2015, both in South Asia and Asia Pacific editions.
Touted as the world’s biggest PR awards programme, the SABRE awards is dedicated to benchmarking the best work from across the world.
The nomination for both editions is for the policy and advocacy work undertaken for Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease (PFCD), a not-for-profit organization, which is committed to raising awareness of chronic diseases — the number one cause of death, disability and rising health care costs across countries.
SPAG Asia’s integrated communications and advocacy campaign for PFCD over the last 18 months is an attempt to draw attention and mobilize stakeholders towards the growing burden of Non-Communicable Diseases in India and develop an action-oriented, multi-sectoral roadmap to manage this public health challenge.
While the winner for the South Asia edition will be announced on September 16th in Mumbai, the Asia-Pacific SABRE awards will be announced in Hong Kong on September 23.
